K-groups are a great way to get noticed, but they don’t necessarily find massive success. Most don’t even break into the top 100. These are just a few of the many reasons. The vast majority of K-groups fail to find great success. But there’s still hope for those who work hard and are passionate about Kpop. There are several companies that manage K-groups, and it’s not impossible to make money from it!

A K-pop company recruits trainees by auditioning them. Many of these trainees are scouted, but some go to auditions. Some companies recruit school-aged trainees, such as Kim Seokjin and Jung Eun-ji. However, if you’re an aspiring singer, you should know that it’s not easy to make it in K-pop without any connections to the right companies.

Once chosen, the trainees are enrolled in a training program with an entertainment company, which may last for two years. The company may hire trainees as early as age thirteen, but they’ll have to sign a contract before they debut. Non-Korean idols are trained by YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. These companies also have a strict training schedule, which starts early in the morning and ends at midnight.
